Currently it's the largest EV roaming network in the UK, with access to 10,000 chargepoint connectors across the country.As part of the team, my role was to explore different strategies for the expansion of Paua's operations and identify key building blocks to reach the milestones.

NCA is a Swiss investment company that runs an Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition program, providing talented entrepreneurs with an opportunity to find, acquire and grow the company of their dreams. My role was to source deals and perform due diligence for NCA SF12 by Will Hunnam, an ETA fund with the sole focus of acquiring a majority stake in a single UK-based engineering service company with £5-50m of revenue.

Rebel One's investor network, Rebel One Ventures, invests agnostically across industries, and Investments are $100K-$200K per company. The network has invested in 10+ companies with recent investments in Relativity Space, Fleeting, Qoins, and CoRos, among others. The Fellowship program currently has <2% acceptance rate, and it enables finalists to develop the skills necessary to establish deal flow, analyze startups, and develop the skills critical to investing. The Quantitative Research team at Morningstar is dedicated to developing innovative statistical models and data points, including the Morningstar Quantitative Fund Ratings, the Quantitative Equity Ratings, and the Global Risk Model.As part of this team, my role encompassed mentoring folks and working on various data science initiatives. We used traditional and alternative data sources to find new alpha signals and build sound investment methodologies for creating investment products. I was also in charge of setting up the framework for the Morningstar optimization model that could be used to create multi-asset and equity portfolios.

At Behavioral Insights, we conduct original research and gather insights to understand the savings and investing behavior of individual investors, and how we can help them avoid common behavioral obstacles.In this role, I had the pleasure of working with a talented and diverse team of behavioral practitioners on issues of retirement planning, investing, and spending and savings behavior, and share our research findings via industry and academic publications.

At Morningstar Indexes, we create various factor- and sustainability-based strategies by leveraging Morningstar's expertise in equity research, manager research, asset allocation and portfolio construction to create innovative investment solutions. We create indexes that empower investors to achieve their goals at every stage of the investment process - market monitoring, benchmarking and asset allocation. As part of the New Product Development team, I was responsible for developing new investment strategies that involved ideation, data acquisition and processing, building an investment thesis, extensive back testing, presentation to global research team, client consultation and production implementation. This experience gave me an opportunity to work with several asset managers such as Blackrock (iShares) and JP Morgan to launch award-winning exchange traded funds (ETFs).

As part of the Index Management and Analytics team, I was responsible for rebalancing and managing the methodology of Morningstar indexes that were linked to major products such as iShares Core High Dividend ETF (HDV) and iShares Core Dividend Growth ETF (DGRO). Additionally, I used to perform the annual Equity Market Classification where we would determine each country’s classification based on factors such as market accessibility, liquidity requirements and economic metrics. I also authored the index calculations methodology document for Morningstar Indexes.
