This system automated the end-to-end process of gathering, summarizing, and analyzing vast amounts of financial news, providing real-time insights into key topics chosen by the trader.Leveraging the crewAI framework, the system acted as a virtual team of market researchers, scraping thousands of articles from open-source news sources, extracting key points, and generating sentiment-based summaries. This allowed traders to make informed decisions swiftly and accurately.The technical architecture included: - News collection: Automated pipelines that continuously gathered market data from open-source articles using RSS feeds and web scraping, ensuring traders had real-time access to relevant information. - Highlights extraction & summarization: Developed algorithms to distill large amounts of data into concise, actionable insights, enabling traders to focus on critical information. - Sentiment analysis: Implemented NLP techniques to gauge the tone of news articles, providing sentiment-aware insights into broader market trends. - Relevancy ranking: Built a system that prioritized news sources based on their importance and the trader's preferences. - Market insights: Delivered trend analysis and actionable advice focused on oil and gas products like Brent WTI.The system was successfully deployed into production, significantly reducing the time traders spent on market research, thus improving decision-making speed.
