    To enhance scientific knowledge and for dissemination of high quality education, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is launching a series of workshops on their newly developed virtual laboratories. Amrita University’s Virtual Laboratories for performing experiments online were developed under the National Mission on Education through ICT, sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India. These freely available virtual laboratories are powerful technological interventions that that allow educational institutions and students equal access to real life laboratory experimentation. They will also serve as an online community hub to share and enhance conceptual knowledge through a plethora of web-based resources regardless of their geographic location. Amrita’s online laboratories, called VALUE (Virtual & Accessible Laboratories for Universalizing Education) are equipped with various self-learning tools, quiz, learning material, simulators and access to some remote equipment to perform experiments from any computer connected to the internet.
