CurrentCollaborate with staff to create a new website for the first time in over 10 years. Create marketing tools to convey the CCC of New York City's mission.Established project management systems to work with the CCC's Program Directors and make sure the day-to-day operations run smoothly and deadlines are being met for grants and funding. Collaborates with fundraising team, board treasurer, and accountants to make sure all financials are up to date and deadlines were met.Coordinate with special events teams to hold CCC breakfast forums and annual fundraisers throughout the year.Point of contact for Board of Directors and recorded all minutes for the CCC Board Meetings.Negotiates with brokers and contractors to save money for the budget. Followed up on outstanding invoices and contracts that were owed after extended delays. Communicates frequently with the President of the CCC and update the CCC website and schedule meetings in advanced. Mission of the CCC: The CCC is a leading nonpartisan nonprofit organization working to prevent the most extreme forms of violence in New York. The CCC’s work includes tackling gun violence, illegal gun ownership, and violent extremism. Our multidisciplinary team works to convert innovative ideas into action, creating programs and policies that result in real change.In addition to our pioneering work in reducing the flow of illegal guns in New York City, the CCC works together with communities affected by gun violence to create and implement community-led prevention initiatives. In the extremist violence prevention space, the CCC has developed a first-of-its-kind early intervention program for at-risk individuals who may be mobilizing toward ideologically motivated violence.Our goal and mandate is to stop violence before it starts.
