Perform testing activities in the project team of hardware R&D. My role encompasses designing and executing test plans, recording and analysing data, documentation, and reporting. My project scope includes mechanical reliability, VAVE, mechatronics systems and software system. Successfully delivered diverse test projects within specified control parameters and targeted timelines through resource optimisation and proactive management. My test results contribute significant values to my project team in de-risking, verification and VAVE.Performed Formal Verification processes including Installation Quality (IQ), requirement traceability, objective evidence collection, execution, and thorough documentation.Additionally, I play a key role in leading my test executions by project planning, creating controlled environments, coordinating resources, providing training and supervision to test operators, facilitating stakeholder communication, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal efficiency. From this work experience, I have gained a practical understanding in engineering principle, organisational structures, and regulatory compliance. Through successful project deliveries, I have developed expertise in various problem-solving methodologies, including critical thinking, log reading, failure mode/root cause analysis, data analysis and foreseeing risks.In addition to my involvement in testing and verification, I actively contributed to V&V lab test instrument maintenance and production assembly. Through troubleshooting various instrument issues, I developed system diagnostic skills; My hands-on experience in a streamlined manufacturing environment enhanced my practical skills and deepened my understanding of commercial manufacturing operations.Furthermore, I engaged with Monash University students at career events to share insights into my career journey and promote the company culture.

The research project’s goal is to develop Solid Waste Pyrolysis technology that valorises end-of-life materials into value-added commodities, closing the gap in renewable chemicals. The project team adopts a unique mechanical design of auger pyrolyser. With private funding, the company aimed to validate its technology by constructing a pilot plant. The future goal was to scale up for commercial use.As a MechEng student, my goal was to address the reliability challenges in the pilot plant’s mechanical design, such as corrosion and fatigue stress. I delivered key recommendations to improve reliability and optimise performance by literature reviews, the mechanical design FEA, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). My contribution to the project included in material selection, corrosion, heat expansion optimisation, rotational speed optimisation and molten salt application. Interestingly, I found technical correlation and potential for knowledge sharing between pyrolysis mechanism and the oil gas and mining industries.In project communications, I took on the responsibility of scheduling team meetings, liaising with supervisors, and regularly documenting meeting minutes to enhance team performance.Additionally, I conducted Lab-scale experiments for data collection and completed Techno-economic analysis (TEA) for future upscaling based on experimental findings.

As a founding member of the business, I've progressed from a kitchenhand to the role of Chef De Partie, acquiring proficiency not only in commercial cooking and Japanese cuisine, but also achieving notable milestones benefiting both myself and the establishment:Contributed to a high-output kitchen team, servicing up to 120 customers daily.Took charge of Standard Work of my work section and upheld quality control standards of health and safety.Collaborated with the head chef to optimise workflows, resulting in minimising wastage (Muda), quality inconsistencies (Mura), and service time (Muri). Later realised this practice is named Lean Principles.Executed various private functions successfully, serving up to 100 customers.Played a support role during the COVID-19 pandemic to support the business transition to a new model, further minimising wastage and enhancing commercial excellence.

• Maintenance of industrial sensors and safety devices, such as gas sensors and heat stress monitors.• The clients of my service were mainly mining, oil gas and defence industries.In this role, I performed:• Fault identification and troubleshooting of instruments.• Documentation and reporting for service and calibration.• Delivered customer service and technical support. • Completed production assembly work.• Stock management and purchase orders in ERP software.

I reconditioned the rental instruments and calibrated them to accepted standards. The tasks included in examination, decontamination, reconditioning, and calibration. Working in a collaborative team, we delivered a reliable supply of “rental-ready” instruments to address the growing customer demand.
