As a recent marketing graduate, I am interested in furthering my experience in digital media, advertising and branding, and data analytics to inform how I serve my target markets. I have experience remaining adaptable and flexible to the needs of my audience, and this is a skill I am continuing to develop as I encounter new roles. I plan to use my strengths to advocate for the needs and wants of those in my community and to provide opportunities to further the growth of my clients.I have two passions related to my future goals and career path. First, I am gaining real world experience in marketing by working for other companies. I want to traverse across multiple roles centered around marketing, domestic and global, to understand the aspect of marketing I enjoy the most. This may include event preparation, community engagement, grant writing, social media marketing, and so forth. I am open to explore all forms of marketing to understand common threads between them all. My target industries are action sports, fashion & beauty, and education.Secondly, I will develop my business, Star Twix Nails, and serve the unique market related to Harajuku and Kawaii fashion. Press on nails are an underused product in the nail enhancement industry, and have potential for growth in the coming years. Through my participation in Mav Pitch, I have detailed a plan to transition my hobby into a small business that can serve a unique market, and eventually general merchandising stores. Although this requires me to play the role of many for my business, I am determined to follow the 5 year plan I outlined.
