I completed my B.Sc. in Water Resources Engineering degree from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in November 2021. Currently, I am working as a Research Consultant at the Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS). CEGIS is a Public Trust under the Ministry of Water Resources Engineering, Bangladesh. I started working here in October 2022. In this organization, I had the opportunity to work with Hydrodynamic Modeling, Groundwater Modeling, Remote Sensing and GIS, Water Quality Assessment, Google Earth Pro, Google Earth Engine, Microsoft Office, etc. I have also had the experience of conducting Public Consultation Meetings (PCM) and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with local masses in different study areas. Before coming to CEGIS, I was working as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Water and Flood Management (IWFM), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) between January 2022 and September 2022. During my tenure, I was working on a project titled, "Assessing Health Impacts Of Urban Flooding Under Changing Climate: A Case Study In Dhaka City". Professor Dr. Shahjahan Mondal was the PI in this project and I was under the direct supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Shampa. This project was funded by the U.S. Department of State. I was a part of the modeling team and had to work extensively with Urban Drainage Modeling, Stormwater Management, GIS and Remote Sensing, Machine Learning, QGIS, Water Quality Assessment, etc. I also conducted numerous field visits to collect Household Questionnaire Survey Data and Focus Group Discussions (FGD).Apart from academic and professional sectors, I have always tried to participate in different competitions and extra-curricular activities. During my undergraduate life, I won a national competition powered by the Ministry of Power Energy and Mineral Resources, Bangladesh, and Young Bangla named "Bicchuron" in December 2019. I have also been the President of the second largest regional association of BUET named GRABS between April and November 2019 and organized numerous events in collaboration with Abdul Monem Limited (AML) Group in June 2019. I also used to be a musician specializing in keyboard and vocals and was an active member of 5 musical bands of Rock and Metal genre.At present, the world is going through a distressing period regarding water, environmental and climatic perspectives. My knowledge and curiosity are solely concentrated on discovering and addressing these issues in a sustainable manner that will be beneficial to everyone.
