Siamak Taslimi (Mac) studied for a BA in International Management (September 1977) at the International Management School. From 1981 he continued his education with a BSc in Petroleum Engineering at Imperial College, University of London. Mac graduated from Imperial College in 1984 with an honour’s degree in Petroleum Engineering. In September of the same year he enrolled on a Master's course in management science at The Henley Management College, which he completed in 1986. Following this he continued three years of research in the field of AI (Artificial Intelligence) specializing in KE (Knowledge Engineering) at Brunel University. Mac is currently director of Cavendish International (established in 2012). Over the last 30 years Mac has been involved in setting up a number of educational establishments, including: Cavendish University Zambia, Cavendish University Uganda, Cavendish University Armenia, Cavendish Cardan (Iran), FAD Academy (Pune/India), Cavendish College London, among many others. Mac have been a lecturer for over 30 years. He currently lectures in subjects related to management, marketing and international trade, as well as on-line education technology. For the last 20 years, Mac has also been management consultant for a wide variety of industrial, commercial, engineering, and legal projects.Mac and his team at Cavendish International are working on expanding the use of education technology and increasing the reach of this technology globally. Their objective is to promote independent, simple, and accessible solutions, which can empower the learners.
