About Sian Broughton

I am the CEO of Community VISION (Voluntary Infrastructure Support Involving Organisations and Networks) CIO, a merger of East Riding Voluntary Action Services (ERVAS) Ltd and Voluntary Action North Lincolnshire Limited (VANL), registered charities providing support to Communities and Voluntary Sector organisations. This includes managing staff, finances and funding, strategic development, policy and procedure development and everything else in between. I am also the Director of Phoenix Accountancy and Business Consultancy Limited, a wholly owned trading subsidiary of ERVAS offering accountancy, payroll and consultancy support to Businesses, individuals and Charities. I am a qualified Chartered Management Accountant, and am an associate member of CIMA and the AAT. I also have a Practicing Certificate from CIMA, who are responsible for supervising with regards Anti-money laundering compliance.I have spent many years working with all aspects of management and financial management to ensure that organisations are financially robust and legally compliant. I am involved in local communities and am a strategic partner on many local boards.In addition to paid employment, I have two voluntary roles, Governor for a local primary school and Trustee of the East Riding Food Poverty Alliance CIO.I also have two properties that I let out as well as two children and several pets, so regularly feel that there aren't enough hours in the day.
