I took big agency experience and I started up CubanEight in 2009.I had previously helped to set-up Hotwire. So, I knew what a PR startup with ambition would need to grow and be successful. Combining my knowledge for campaigns with my passion for tech, I knew from the start what clients were looking for with agencies.I also (as the year 2009 would suggest) know what it is like to start a business in a recession!I understand that these times - such as those we are living through now - will bring many companies a unique opportunity to stand out and flourish.I also know all this is possible while bringing up toddlers (my twin sons were aged 2 when I started CubanEight - no time for terrible twos, they were angels.. as my selective memory recalls…)My approach to successful B2B Tech PR has always been about being collaborative, proactive and having an awareness of the trends and drivers that will have an impact on the buyer journey. Anyone who works with me would say that I ‘deliver’. Deliver on what I’ve promised, being a partner and driving force for clients to ensure their businesses succeed in their missions. My ethos has always been about supporting clients’ wider business goals, understanding the wider context, and building campaigns that audiences will engage with and remember and act on. Changing perceptions, influencing emotions and transforming behaviour. And now at Tyto PR I am looking forward to taking this experience and approach to the next level. I truly love what I do.

Managing Director & FounderCubaneight 2009 - Nov 2022CubanEight was a PR and integrated communications agency specialising in B2B and technology. It’s in our DNA to aim high. We never felt higher than when we were named one of the top channel-focused PR firms in the world by Forrester.Operating at the intersection of business and technology, we were able to propel brands above and beyond. We believe the true value of PR comes from the impact of the trust, authenticity and dialogue it creates between a client and its audiences. Therefore, a deep understanding of how a customer makes a decision to buy is essential to building a strategy that supports the fostering of that client-audience relationship. To create rich and engaging campaigns, we build a narrative by utilising our collective media and industry knowledge. We spend time with our clients as outsiders, dissecting what is understandable from a customers point of view. Once we take the surface expertise from our clients’ businesses, we’re able to build a narrative and fuel these campaigns. All of which combined, enables our clients to achieve their ambitions. And (arguably) most importantly, engage with the right audiences. -
