Extensive experience at the top has equipped me with the judgement and insight to crack business challenges and make decisions at pace.As a former TV broadcaster and political lobby journalist, turned senior Civil Servant and business leader, I've provided senior counsel to Ministers and business leaders and created PR campaigns, advocacy strategies and engagement programmes. Throughout my career I have used my passion for health and well being to champion initiatives and charities who are restless to improve our society.I was awarded a CB in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to the Department of Health, was named PR Professional of the Year and most recently awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of GPs.I have held CMO and corporate affairs and communications leadership positions in both large commercial organisations, digital scale-ups and the public sector and hold commercial advisory and non executive director roles. I am a trustee and board member for a number of organisations championing youth social action and women's issues and most recently appointed to the Board of Trustees at Diabetes UK.
