She supports SSC+ to strategise, build power, and push for local change to better the lives of trans people in the U.K. Previous Work: - The Cov Cares Movement, a social movement to bring connection and belonging back to the city's highstreets. Siân organises with businesses and organisations in the city; they most recently launched the Cov Cares Awards, an awards that received 756 nominations from the people of Coventry and highlighted 170 businesses and organisations that are bringing a sense of connection and belonging to the community. The Community Action Fund exists to support grassroots campaigning and community organising in the UK. These grants are available to grassroots organisations that are building the power of their community and campaigning for long-term change.The Civic Power Fund's Community Action Panel joins grassroots organisers and campaigners from across the U.K. to co-assess grant proposals and finalise awards. Together they allocated £336,000 to grassroots movement building across the U.K.
