I’m passionate about the charity sector as a force for positive individual and social change. I love watching the light in someone’s eyes as they realise what power they have in the world.My strengths lie in building and managing relationships and in creating an environment for people to think well. I'm a strategic thinker, naturally collaborative, and use my sensitive people skills to create high performing teams. With experience in operational and strategic roles in the third sector I have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing charities and voluntary and community organisations. I have a track record in setting up new services and improving underperforming services in order to deliver on business goals. My values reflect the equality, diversity and inclusion agendas and to support this I have a Masters in Women’s Studies. I am interested in a values-based, thoughtful and quieter kind of leadership. I am training to be a personal performance coach with The Coaching Academy.In my spare time I practice yoga, enjoy modern art and the Worcestershire countryside. I also enjoy travelling and have travelled extensively in south east Asia and more recently in east Africa.
