Led the transfer of ownership of the 3D Program for Girls and Women to local partners in Maharashtra, India, including change management and strategic planning, fundraising for 3D Program partners, overseeing the operational plan to close down US-based operations, managing global and Indian partnerships in civil society, government and the private sector, reporting to donors, and documenting the 3D Program story, including the transition process and lessons learned on localization and responsible transitions.

Provided strategic direction and oversight to a multi-sectoral program to strengthen local governance and advance gender equality in Maharashtra, India, including leading program development and implementation, developing global and Indian civil society, government and private sector partnerships, managing cross-cultural teams in the US and India, engaging in strategic planning, budget development and reporting to partners and donors, leading the programmatic focus on violence against girls and women in public spaces, representing the program externally, creating program documentation and communication materials, fundraising for the 3D Program and for our partners, providing transition and change management in response to disruptive events, including COVID.

Supported the implementation of UNICEF's Gender Action Plan, including designing and leading process to strengthen capacity of UNICEF’s global Gender Focal Point position leveraging technical and gender resources under ProGender, a broader institutional gender credentialing initiative; reviewing program guidance for the UNFPA-UNICEF Global Programme to Accelerate Action to End Child Marriage; synthesizing information across regions and sectors to create high quality and engaging written content, including Gender Annual Results Report 2015; and developing agendas for annual Global Gender Network meetings.

Created and strengthened internal and external content for AKDN-affiliated initiatives. Generated institutional protocol, program, and systems guidance in the planning phases of UCA, a new, regional university. Developed institutional reports, program briefs and presentations, press releases, articles, and newsletters, strategic talking points, blogs, and website content. Served as editor of quarterly magazine UCA News, copy editor of UCA policy and research series (Institute of Public Policy and Administration Working and Occasional Paper Series, and the Mountain Societies Research Institute Background Paper Series), and editor of Pluralism Papers on Kyrgyzstan (Global Centre for Pluralism). Developed grant proposals, including to the Overseas Private Investment Corporation and Agence Française de Développement.

Created and supported internal and external processes and communications for Morgan State University’s new Public Health Program. Developed institutional processes, guidelines, and protocol; successful grant proposals to donors, including the National Institutes of Health, the National Library of Medicine and the National Research Initiative; and institutional reports, program briefs, fact sheets, radio shows, press releases, talking points, concept notes and articles to convey key messages in an authentic voice. Conducted program assessments and generated documentation to support the accreditation of the program with the Council on Education in Public Health, receiving the maximum 5-year accreditation. Supported faculty in writing and publishing research, and designed and delivered training on writing skills for doctoral students.

Coordinated the production of a monograph on Reproductive Tract Infections Global Impact and Priorities for Women's Reproductive Health, edited by Adrienne Germain, King Holmes, Peter Piot, and Judith Wasserheit. Supported the mobilization of women's organizations around the world in advance of the series of UN conferences on the Environment and Development (1992), Human Rights (1993), Population and Development (1994), and Beijing (1995) to advance the global advocacy agenda on gender equality.
