HIN is one of the oldest Indonesian SOE's that mainly focused in hotel & land ownership. The company owned 14 hotels across Indonesia and also numerous land that are currently leased with several partners. In 2020, the transformation of HIN has begin due to the rising number of Covid-19 cases and its massive effect to the tourism sectors. Firstly, the Ministry of SOE is forming a new Hotel Holding SOE's which create effectivity to all SOEs in operating their hotel under one roof system. Secondly, in 2021 HIN and several SOEs in tourism and aviation sectors are participating in Tourism Holding SOE's called InJourney. HIN, through their ownership of 43 hectare land in Sanur is now proposing the first Medical-Special Economic Zone (SEZ/KEK) to the Sekretariat Dewan Nasional.
