Sibella is an advocate and thought leader who has helped drive the Bay Area food and farming movement for more than thirty years. Over her diverse career, Sibella has worked to link farmers, chefs and communities, protect and revitalize urban-edge agriculture, support beginning farmers, and make Bay Area food systems more vital, interconnected, sustainable and resilient. With an entrepreneurial and collaborative approach, Sibella combines her big-picture vision with on-the-ground know-how to develop innovative projects from ideas to reality.Sibella has produced numerous influential publications and is an acclaimed, in-demand public speaker. Her work has received national recognition from agricultural, food, planning and public market organizations.
