With 12+ years of experience across finance, insurance, investment banking, aviation, retail and consulting, I have built a strong foundation in internal audits, risk management, internal controls, compliance and financial assurance. Currently serving as Audit Director at Crescent Trade Finance, I develop and execute audit strategies to enhance governance, ensure regulatory compliance, lead structured accounting and financial due diligence reviews to drive sustainable performance.In my previous roles, I managed internal audit and controlling operations, corporate audits and financial assurance projects in accordance with global reporting standards such as IFRS and GAAP. i have led risk-based audits, fraud investigations and financial reviews, using Data-Driven & Agile methodologies, to help organizations address complex financial and operational risks while ensuring accuracy and transparency. My experience in investment banking includes conducting thorough assessments of liquidity management, operational risks and financial reviews, ensuring alignment with global frameworks and country-based regulatory compliance requirements. Alongside my professional experience, I hold CIA and CPA designations. Furthermore, I graduated with high honor bachelor’s degree from Yıldız Technical university, hold an MBA from Galatasaray University and recently completed a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from Boğaziçi University. This education enhanced my expertise in finance,accounting and law, as well as programming languages such as Python, SQL, CRM software and advanced data analytics techniques, which I now apply to solve business challenges and support strategic decision-making.I have a proven ability to collaborate across departments, leading cross-functional teams to achieve operational and financial efficiency.
