I am currently employed by SIMS PERWAY as a Contracts Manager managing two drain cleaning contracts for TFR, two welding contracts for Prasa/MetroRail and have successfully completed a perway projects including Construction of underground lines and civil works in Konkola Copper Mine (Zambia), Transnet Turnout Replacement throughout South Africa, Construction of 5km Bridge City Rail Link double lines, Construction of Dalcon Railway lines and currently involved in Durban Re-signalling Project all for Prasa. I have worked for Flint Railway Construction where I began as a student and through hard work, my superiors entrusted me to successfully handle and supervise my own operations. I was then given a chance to be a Project Manager in the KCM Rail project in Zambia under Railcon Construction (division of Flint Construction) for 6 months. I am also conversant with Occupational Health and Safety Act.I have successfully handled a group of subcontractors with a combined workforce of more than 100 employees. Being involved in all these projects has broadened my knowledge of the railway industry and rapidly increased my competency levels, making me very confident in my capabilities to handle any task. I consistently groom my punctuality regarding targets, communication skills with all classes of management, labour and clients but ensuring at all times I learn and improve. I am thus keen to grow in all disciplines of civil engineering.
