have spent most of my working career working in compliance issues in cross border trade, border management, company administration. and now Public Procurement. This has included stints working for the Swaziland Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the promotion of private sector interests with national government and industry specialists. I then moved onto the South African Revenue Services as Assistant Director responsible for Finance and later as Group Manager responsible for Operations Support. I have spent the last ten years working for the Coega Development Corporation initially as Project Manager and then Head of Department (Unit Head) for Customs Logistics and Security. The past ten years have been spent on the creation of an enabling legislative and operational environment for the development of Special Economic Zones with focus on the creation of trade-related solutions for application in Southern Africa (SACU.) I am a qualified Project Manager and have more directly been involved in the project management of many projects in creating and defining various operational systems in Customs Logistics and Security. This has recently included the creation of an in-house security division of 110 staff securing an industrial estate of some 12 000 hectares.During my career I have been involved (as a member of various committees) in corporate governance in Risk Management, Procurement, Budget formulation and have conducted special and sensitive investigations. I am seeking a senior management position that would allow me to take the next step in my career and I strongly believe that my qualification and wealth of experience in financial management, administration, strategy, international trade promotion, compline, Risk Management and people management has prepared me for a senior management role.
