Architected, designed, developed & deployed a configuration-based Insurance Platform to define and transact Insurance Products online; to support Rate, Quote, Bind, Issue, Endorse, Cancel, Reinstate & Renew. This was the first online insurance system which allows end to end business process to perform online users to rate, quote and purchase a policy over public internet using their credit/debit cards and eChecks.

One of the largest patient care software product vendor in US during this time; had 45% market cap. Their TDS system was used by major large hospitals and universities in US. The product was in the market and in use for the past 30 plus years, at that time. The system provides "end to end" functionality for large hospitals, pharmacies and labs from patient care to entire facility/operations management. The system was developed using IBM assembly language, runs on CICS and uses large ISAM based specialized & custom database. The system was deployed on IBM 3090 (MVS) mainframe environment. I researched & invented a UI technology for migrating from mainframe "green screen" to new "cool" UI model without any rewrite of their IBM assembly code. This technology was invented even prior to IBM's screen scraping model was available in the market. Participated in a heavy product engineering life cycle involving architecture, design, development and deployment of this new innovative model for IBM MVS mainframe hospital & patient care green screen legacy system into a "rich" UI client/server system. This new technology model was identified, invented, architected, designed by me and developed by my team. Based on this model a new UI rich version their product was evolved at Alltel. This innovative model reduced significant engineering cost compared to their original planned model. During this time, internet & intranet (HTML/web) based delivery model was at its initial stage. I invented, architect-ed, designed a new web based model for delivering the system over the web, which became a revolutionary new flagship product line for Alltel Heath Care division. This product made big value to sell this health care division to Eclipsys as Sunrise product at that time.

One of the popular and large LIMS product vendor of it kind in US at this time. During this time period, this system was used by many large laboratories in US. This product was in market more 15 years at this time. It was originally developed and deployed in C language, runs on DEC and informix database environment which later migrated to MS DOS environment. MS Windows was at its infancy stage at this time just released Windows 3.0.Participated in the product engineering life cycle involving design, development and deployment of MSDOS to MS Windows 3.0 migration of LABVANTAGE product, a popular LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System). Involved in design and development of the first GUI migration to Windows 3.0, 3.1 and 3.1.1 using Windows SDK & C. Was a key contributor in defining some of the important design elements of this migration.

Developed Image scanner driver and image management software for scanning and storing signatures images from filled-in paper applications. The system was used in banking application. I developed the key scanner driver by reverse engineering the binary driver (code) by debugging the binary code with the help of MS DOS DEBUG tool. There was no written document available for this scanner. I developed this driver in MS DOS Assembly language and rest of the software was written in C language.

This was a research project. I designed and developed an artificial intelligence (AI) system for natural language processing for English language. This system was developed using popular AI language Prolog and on Digital's VAX VMS system. This system enables to have an English language human to machine conversation with this system.

Participated in the implementation of Sports Information System for National Games'87 This was the first largest WAN implementation (500 kms) used in for National Games in India
