2022 Cytel Spotlight Award recipientCausal Inference:- Constructed inverse probability weights for marginal structural models (MSM) to obtain double inverse-weighted estimation of cumulative treatment effects for longitudinal studies to account for treatment switching and dependent censoring. - Performed propensity score analysis (PSA) with different estimands ATT, ATE, ATO, and weighting/matching such as nearest neighbour matching, cardinality matching, inverse probability treatment weighting (IPTW) on clinical trial arm and synthetic control arm (SCA) to reduce bias by adjusting for baseline confounders to reach covariate balance. Shiny Web Applications:- Updated and integrated new features to UI and Server on Shiny Apps including methods and calibrations for propensity score matching and weighting, displaying model estimates and plots, checking model assumptions, performing sensitivity analysis, rendering analyses results with Rmarkdown as HTML files, and implementing meta-analysis and subgroup analysis. Deploy Shiny apps for internal and client use. Sensitivity Analysis:- Implemented Quantitative Bias Analysis (QBA) to assess the sensitivity in missing value imputation with shifts in randomness assumptions, and to estimate E-values for assessing the strength of unmeasured confounders. Clustering Analysis;- Led the execution of the analysis with application to Group-Based Trajectory Modelling for group assignment in clinical trial data by tuning a reasonable range of potential clusters and degrees of polynomials using the EM algorithms, and selecting the optimal setting that minimizes the AIC/BIC.Project Management:- Drafted SAP/protocol, slide decks, guidelines, technical reports, manuscripts, and coding examples.
