As a painter at I have been creating original artworks for four years. I specialize in pleinair painting, but I also paint portraits and still lifes. I use direct painting techniques, which means I do not rely on photography or other aids, but rather on my own observation and interpretation of the subject.My passion for painting stems from my desire to learn to see and to capture the essence and emotion of what I see. I have honed my skills and style through formal education at Charles H. Cecil Studios and through self-study and practice. I accept commissions and I offer mentoring for aspiring painters.
