Investigating the role of mitochondria in placental development and fetal growth restriction. Examining the efficacy of mitochondrial therapeutics using techniques such as cryo-EM, tomography, 3D cell culture and organoids.

Developing new methods of cryo-EM to examine mitochondrial structure in situ, in collaboration with Bio21 and the University of Melbourne, and University of Wollongong. Learned techniques such as HPF, FIB-SEM and TEM.

Sid Acharya is an Australian composer who is known for his internationally acclaimed studio albums and music for film. His style is most recognizable by use of electronic moving elements with deep and melancholic orchestral textures, mostly within the genre of contemporary classical music.His music has been used for a variety of purposes with NASA, Houston Space Centre, Lisbon Aquarium and more. Sid continues to release studio albums and also composes original soundtrack for film.
