Hey everyone! My name is Saeed, but I go by the nickname of Sid. I've spent the last decade of my life on this spiritual journey of self-discovery, learning a lot. I mean a lot about myself and people along the way during my studies and sales career. I have always held a huge interest in science and the idea of making things that solve problems; this even led me to complete a biomedical engineering degree that combines science and anatomy with the magic of engineering. Think bionic limbs, artificial hearts, and even things like bionic suits that would give the average person the strength of a gorilla. I know. Wow!!! My awesome achievements included creating a Bionic fish, a thesis on the delivery methods of Non-steroidal an-anti inflammatory biomaterials that will destroy cancers, and 3d printed hip replacement designed by your truly.Science is fun, but my world was about to be rocked when I discovered a beautiful thing called sales. I needed a job, so I started applying, eventually landing one in Harvey Norman as a computer salesperson. KPIS, Sales pitches, and commissions!! I was hooked! I was breaking my KPIS, sometimes by percent 300%. I couldn't believe it. The allure of playing mental chess when selling to people was and still is so thrilling.I became so infatuated, so addicted to making money through commission I would often spend hours at home revising and role-playing with my pitches. After Seven years in the trenches, this can mold someone into a sales genius. Believe me! Having spent some time leading and training the sales team, I reluctantly called it quits to move on to something greater and more challenging. I just needed to scratch that itch!Enter raw pet meats, an Area management role in the beautiful south of Melbourne, replace customers with large businesses, computers with pet food and a sale with one invoice to large accounts with hundreds of invoices. The dynamic had totally shifted, but one thing still remained sales. I did what I do best, pitching! And Closing! last year was fruitful for the pet meat industry (thanks to covid, everyone had bought pets ). Grew my portfolio by 125% and made a bunch of friends in the industry along the way. What next for me … Well, I want to continue my journey in medical sales industry, . It makes sense; it's a recipe of sales, science, and anatomy, and I get to help people better their quality of life through life-changing medical technologies. So if you are hiring, let me know, as I would love to chat about it!
