My considerable experience gained at the various levels of my career have been varied and challenging. I have seen the industry change in many ways from the abolition of borders and customs throughout the EC ( I was involved at that time as trialists for the customs free systems) to the changes from 'Shipping and Forwarding' to the all encompassing ' Transport and Logistics' which has provided me with challenges both many and interesting.I have started a company from a day one position and have overseen the many aspects necessary to see it grow and flourish. In addition to the creation and monitoring of budgets, the employment and management of staff I have developed numerous new services , sourcing like minded potential partners throughout Europe on both the logistics and transport sides. I am now in a position to take on a new challenge whether it be short, long or fixed term contract which will continue to provide me with the mental stimulus I need together with fulfilling a requirement within the industry. To that end I would welcome proposals from interested parties.
