•Provided direction and support from a global perspective to multiple sites on various programs including sustaining programs, program transfers and NPI activities in aerospace, industrial and medical programs.•Liaison between Flex corporate management team and multiple Flex sites providing support on; customer contract negotiations, continuous improvement objectives, RFQ efforts, NPI activities, and corporate metrics such as Customer Satisfaction Surveys, P&L, AR, E&O, ITO, etc., as well as customer initiatives such as kanban pull program implementation, quality improvement programs, etc.•Partnered successfully with Flex internal cross-functional team and the customer’s NPI team to transfer and introduce multiple industrial products into our PCBA facility in Malaysia. Our team was highly praised by the customer’s NPI manager for the high level of quality, attention to detail and the added customer value in the form of design/manufacturability improvement recommendations.•Worked directly with both internal and external cross-functional teams to transfer a family of flight critical aerospace products from Asia to our Morgan Hill precision machining facility. The project also required expansion into a new building with significant investment in lease-hold improvements and capitalization. Managed the project plan and provided weekly project status updates to the customer and senior Flex management on all aspects of the project.•Worked directly with engineering, quality, operations and the customer to improve yield and cost of poor quality by revisiting machine programs, tools and techniques.•Spearheaded cross-functional initiative to improve capacity analysis tool to improve delivery to the customer.

•Served as both the sending and receiving site PM while coordinating the transfer of two Aerospace programs from the Solectron EMS Canada Inc facility in Winnipeg, Canada to the FinePitch facility in Fremont, CA (prior to the move to Milpitas, CA), providing focus and direction over all aspects of the transfer.•Led a cross-functional customer focus team to ensure timely and effective communication within the Solectron facility and with the customer resulting in typical customer satisfaction scores of >4.5 out of 5.•Managed two Aerospace programs within the Solectron facility in Milpitas, CA and provided leadership to a third aerospace program and an industrial controls program managed by 2 other program managers with a total annual revenue of ~$30M.•Main point of contact for the customer. Responsible for all program activities and metrics including account performance, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and action plan development and deployment. Primary contact for both internal and external escalations and interface with senior management.

•Managed two North America based aerospace programs ($10M annual combined).•Spearheaded cross-functional initiative to rapidly transfer several aerospace safety products from an alternate supplier that had given very short disengagement notice to the customer. The program was successfully transferred over a 12 week period despite inconsistent customer documentation as well as design and obsolete component challenges.•Collaborated with the customer’s principal design engineer to dramatically improve manufacturing efficiency and quality on several aerospace products by initiating changes to customer controlled drawings.•Partnered with and collaborated very closely with the customer’s design team to introduce flight critical products. This was their most significant design effort in 20 years. Design changes addressing problems identified during their testing process and to incorporate additional feature requests from their customers, were numerous and frequent (weekly on average and over ~ 18 month period). Continued to support these products through the various stages of their product life cycle including stable production where the parts remain today.•Managed two telecommunication accounts (~$7M annual combined) in addition to the aerospace programs.

• Collaborated with my engineering colleagues to introduce and qualify a Fuji surface mount manufacturing line, focusing on printing, fine-pitch placement and reflow.• Partnered with other engineering colleagues to modify our quotation/rate model creating a tool that provided greater quotation accuracy as well as detailed rate information that improved production management’s planning capability and developed and rolled out a new standardized manufacturing documentation system in support of the migration from an OEM to an EMS company. • Implemented and supported thru-hole manufacturing equipment and processes for pcba including development and roll out of all new and revised machine programs and maintenance procedures as well as training of all machine operators and maintenance personnel. • Served as member of the Design Change Control Board, capital and expense coordinator, ESD coordinator for the Winnipeg facility and member of the corporate steering committee on ESD.
