I am responsible for ensuring that all Federal, State, and Local laws and Minimum Standards are adhered to and that all State and departmental policies and procedures are followed to the letter. I have, in the past, served in the capacity as Transportation Sergeant as well as Operations Sergeant. Since 2013 I have been the TAC-10 system administrator for the Detention Center, attending yearly training in Cedar Falls Iowa at TAC-10's corporate headquarters. In 2009 I was tasked with and successfully completed re-writing and putting together yearly training classes for all Emergency Procedures related to the Detention Facility. Since preparations began for the move to our new Detention Facility in Summerville I have been named to the transition team and will be responsible for ensuring that all computers and related equipment is properly moved and operating in its designated locations. While working at ARKO I was responsible for coordinating and performing prison transports for multiple state prisons as well as Federal Transports for the Federal Penitentiary in Penrose with procedures being performed at area hospitals. I was responsible for all on site physical security while the inmates were away from the prisons. I was also responsible for performing physical and video security for multiple area businesses in the Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Canyon City, and Denver areas.
