I’m Sid (Sidney) McCoy (she/her) and I am a doctorate student. In high school I was the ambassador for liberal/creative arts in my school and I was the president of the club “Art Honorary.” I was one of the three youngest K-12 students to become a juried Tamarack artisan in the state of WV.Once I became an undergraduate student I was involved in publishing my work in ‘Et Cetera’ and continuing to show my art in various juried galleries. I was a volunteer academic and writing center tutor during my senior semesters. Independently I sell various mediums of traditional art ranging from ceramics to oil paintings. My art focuses on LGBTQ+, occultism, women’s studies and the southern gothic genre.
