Currently I'm employed at Gordon Prill, Inc. involved with aerospace construction projects at Lockheed in Sunnyvale, Ca.

As a project superintendent I was responsible for scheduling, managing sub-contractors, quality control, maintaining the budget, inspections and safety. The goal is always to exceed client expectations.Envision specializes in construction for medical facilities (OSHPD), and MOB facilities such as dialysis treatment facilities and related medical construction. Projects for Envision that I supervised include:1. Davita Estrella Dialysis Center T.I., Phoenix, AZ, $900,000. January 2014 to March 2014.2. San Ramon Regional Medical Center(OSHPD) ADA Upgrade, $650,000. August 2013 to December 2013.

This was a contract position I acquired through Crescent Alliance Group which is a job placement business. My role was to supervise for the general contractor the installation of solar panel arrays on 4 elementary school campuses in the Moreland School District in San Jose.The project involved laying out for solar panel arrays in specified parking lots and playground areas, underground boring to accommodate electrical conduit installation, erection of the steel panel supports, and installation and commissioning of the solar panels that were integrated into the schools' power supply. Also included were repairs and/or modifications to affected concrete, asphalt and landscape areas.

My role for Angotti & Reilly was to be a superintendent for 2 public school remodel projects. They were:1. East Side High School District (San Jose). $900,000. June 2012 to November 1012. This was a site lighting upgrade at 4 high school campuses that involved installing approximately 40 street lights in each campus. Trenching was the method used for underground conduit installation, with significant asphalt, concrete, and landscape repair required. Work occurred during school hours, requiring a thorough, efficient safety plan. The project was completed successfully. 2. San Francisco Unified School District, Francis Scott Key Elementary School Modernization. $5,900,000. April 2011 to November 2012. This was a modernization of a grade school built in 1938 which involved major structural upgrades (foundational reinforced concrete), restroom upgrades (Plumbing, electrical, structural, finishes), New interior and exterior doors, frames, & hardware were installed, ADA upgrades at all entrance and egress locations (Concrete flat work, ramps, stairs), Electrical upgrades including coordinating with PG&E for service upgrade and relocation. The entire school was painted. A new playground with playground equipment was installed. Site work to comply with ADA requirements was done and the entire play ground had new asphalt installed.

I was employed at James R. Griffin on a contract basis to act as a superintendent and safety officer for a project at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, National Ignition Facility (NIF), $590,000. The project was to install 4 wall collimators in the target area of the NIF research facility. It involved precise concrete forming and placing to accommodate the very precise installation of the wall collimators to be used in fusion research. The environment required diligent safety monitoring to ensure that high safety standards were met. This project was completed successfully.

At the beginning of my 10-1/2 year employment at XL Construction I started as a carpenter, moved up to foreman, and then superintendent, and eventually a safety engineer. I also was assigned to head the then-fledgling Doors/Frames/Hardware department because of my background with door installation. As a superintendent I was responsible for scheduling, managing sub-contractors, quality control, maintaining the budget, inspections and safety. Because of my carpentry experience I was always available to do any hands on work that may have come up during any project.
