I am a Rio Grande Valley native who has always had an interest in how businesses can work efficiently, sustainably, and profitably. With no prior knowledge of how to gain this insight, I began working at an accounting firm as a front desk clerk at the age of 17. Through working at the firm, I learned the importance of not only accounting, but many different aspects of business such as taxation, finance, and law; which has set the path for my current academic and professional journey.
