As a graduate of Western Kentucky University in the Financial Planning CFP® Board Registered Program I received my BS in Finance. Since graduating I have assumed the role of Bar Manager at Levi's on the Lake in Guntersville, AL. This has given my the experience of running my own team while satisfying the needs of customers. Being part of the opening of the bar in June I have witnessed every kink that needed to be worked out and have been apart of every solution. We are on pace to achieve greater than 2 million in revenue through our first year and being apart of it has been an incredible experience. Through college I was able to maintain excellence while being an active member of Delta Sigma Pi including assuming the role of Vice President of Finance. I also worked part-time at Buffalo Wild Wings throughout my college journey and full-time in the summer. This has given me experience communicating with people with no previous knowledge as well as the opportunity to train new employees when I was needed too. Through these main commitments I learned to juggle my academics with my job and fraternity giving all that they expected and deserved of me. In my academics I became proficient with Money Guide Pro®, eMoney Advisor® (Receiving a certificate as well), Redtail CRM®, Riskalyze®, as well as Microsoft Office Programs. In 2024 I have decided to take two new steps of career development and progression. I have lowered my role at Levi’s on the Lake, but will continue to assist them just not in the day to day operations. This will give me the ability to pursue my MBA at Jacksonville State University and take a bartending position closer to home at Fish Market in Hoover, AL. I have now assumed my first professional role as a Project Accountant for Day and Zimmermann as I finish up my MBA. I am prepared and excited to continue my professional journey!
