American Express Global Commercial Services is the top corporate card issuer in the U.S. and offers a wide range of financial and operational solutions to support businesses of all sizes. In this role, I led a team of product managers to drive growth within the small and mid-size enterprise (SME) segment, specifically, by innovating upon our payment functionality, spend enablement, and loyalty capabilities.

The network operations team manages the operation and performance of American Express’s payment rails, enabling $1T+ in annual spend across 114M cards in force. In this role, I reported directly to the Executive Vice President of the business unit, supporting all aspects of strategic planning, investment allocation, and organizational growth for 300+ colleagues globally.

As an VP at Prognos, I focused on driving growth of our analytics products within the health plan industry. This included establishing new business contacts within health plans, managing relationships across C-suite, operations, and analytics stakeholders, conceptualizing solutions to address customer needs, and developing and negotiating contracts to secure new business.

Prognos (formerly Medivo) is an enterprise analytics company with a mission to improve clinical and operational decision-making across the healthcare industry. In this role, I identified and assessed new growth opportunities to expand Prognos’ footprint. Key activities included market sizing, customer segmentation, and product and business model development. Beyond this, I worked cross-functionally with marketing, product, and data science teams to translate strategy into operations and helped launch our solutions in the health plan market.

Performance Excellence is an internal management consultancy within Kaiser Permanente, leading strategic engagements across its hospital and health plan businesses. As a consultant I evaluated the strategic and operational benefits of new technologies and processes to improve member experience and access to services.

Embrace Innovations is a venture backed health technology firm that develops disruptive healthcare solutions for customers in the emerging markets. In this role I liaised across design, user research, and marketing teams to commercialize a consumer-facing product to prevent neonatal hypothermia.

IMS Consulting Group is the management consulting arm of IMS Health focused on addressing a broad range of commercial issues for the world's top pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms. As a Consultant, I supported and led engagements on the topics of product commercialization, pricing and market access, and portfolio development.

Genentech is a leading biotechnology firm that discovers, develops, manufactures, and commercializes biologics across a variety of therapeutic areas. As an engineer, I worked to optimize production operations for heavily marketed products (e.g. Avastin) through process monitoring, development, and troubleshooting.
