Sid is responsible for providing innovative and thought leadership on SBC to 21 countries in East and Southern Africa through UNICEF ESARO. Prior to that, he led the social and behaviour change agenda for UNICEF India, one of the largest teams globally. A major highlight has been providing SBC leadership support to the world’s largest COVID-19 response vaccination programme in India, which continues to reach and engage millions of people and already vaccinated 1.89 billion as of early May 2022. He has been working in Communications, Social and Behaviour Change for more than two decades across 8 countries. He was one of the co-authors for Essentials for Excellence (E4E) - Researching, Monitoring and Evaluating Strategic Communication for Behaviour and Social Change which was used as an important resource during the Avian Flu Pandemic.
