Since 2012, Sid has participated in global utility smart grid trial programs with next generation energy products including RF gateways and sensors, guiding them to successful development and deployment. Delivering his first cloud-based solution for Sprint in 2003, Sid has since succeeded in delivering broadband enabled applications (BBEA) for service providers including 4Home (acquired by Motorola) and uControl (merged with iControl). In 1994, Sid started Alpha Telecom to focus on ISDN CPE solutions for global telecom equipment manufacturers (TEM) including Alcatel, Lucent, Nortel and Siemens. He was GM of SMC Networks USA and focused on NAR MSO channels, leading revenue growth from $24M to $100M in 5 years. Sid was VP of Lite On Technology since 2012 to 2014 to work on emerging IoT technologies for Connected Home, Smart Grid, and M2M for Industries Internet.
