Gold Coast, Australia

Ikin Dance Australia is one of the Gold Coast's leading dance studios. With classes in jazz, acrobatics, lyrical, sport aerobics, hip hop, cheerleading and more for all ages and abilities! Ikin Dance is an event specialist studio providing entertainment throughout the Gold Coast as well as supplying the NRL Gold Coast Titans with their on-field entertainment spectacular before kick off at each home game. Ikin Dance is the home of the Sirens (the official cheerleaders for Gold Coast Titans).I overlook the operation of the entire business as well as its growth and development. My goal is to continually add value to its members ensuring the highest level of training and industry experience in a fun and family friendly environment. As well as being a training facility, the studio aims to provide professional entertainment solutions to clients all across Australia.

In 2012 I, along with a team I assembled, created a program for schools in Australia to explore the benefits of creative improvisation to help build confidence in students through self-expression. As a Freestyle Academy educator, I have taught this unique style of wellbeing through the dance and the creative arts to thousands of students from a diverse range of backgrounds across Australia. In 2014, I expanded the program to cater for a corporate market after successfully introducing the importance of improvised innovation in the workplace through workshops with the legal team at Jemena Pty Ltd.

Gold Coast

In 2016 I began as the MC for the Mascot of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. The role grew rapidly, allowing me to step into a management position to assist the delivery of the largest Mascot Program in the history of the Commonwealth Games.As the MC/Hype Man, I toured the UK with the Mascot, Borobi, visiting England, Scotland & Wales. The tour concluded in London where I had the honour and privilege of performing in Buckingham Palace to open the launch of the Queen's Baton Relay. We later caught up with the Relay on it's international journey when it visited Malaysia and accompanied the Baton on its visits to sporting venues, the home of the Australian High Commissioner and numerous iconic locations throughout Kuala Lumpur.During my time with the the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation I wrote, co-produced, directed and performed the stage show for the Mascot. This show went on to tour regional Queensland with the Department of Education and Training, to a collective audience of over 12,000 students. It also toured Australia with the Queen's Baton Relay Shared Celebrations as the Baton made its way around the country towards the Gold Coast. Outside the Mascot Program, I had the opportunity to work within multiple areas of the Marketing team. I assisted the Events Team, co-hosting the One Year to Go Celebration with Australian Olympic gold medalist Giaan Rooney. I worked alongside the Digital Media Team to create and produce content for our social media channels to an audience of over 500,000. Working with our Engagement Specialists, I conducted interviews with the GC2018 ambassador athletes for our television campaigns viewed by millions, globally.

Stage School Australia is one of Australia's leading Performing Arts schools, specialising in Drama and Musical Theatre. Having been established over 30 years ago, Stage School Australia's mission is to develop young people through the performing arts.In my roles as rehearsal director for both drama and dance, I taught and impacted the lives of hundreds of children aged 5-18.

Having had to travel into the city to train throughout my younger years, I decided to team up with my brother to bring the first street dance studio to Melbourne's inner eastern suburbs. I created a space where students could explore hip hop, breakdancing, popping, locking and krump.

Coming straight out of Melbourne University, I began work at Jemena Pty Ltd. Jemena owns and operates a diverse portfolio of energy and water transportation assets across the east coast of Australia, with more than $10.5 billion worth of major utility infrastructure.Within the legal team, I provided assistance with a broad variety of matters including property, corporate governance, litigation, IP and dispute resolution.
