Project Manager and Field Coordinator on numerous MDEQ (UST Group) and MDOT (Right-of-Way Group) contaminated sites throughout Mississippi. Developed monitoring well construction plans, supervised drilling and construction of monitoring wells, conducted soil and ground-water sampling, and prepared technical reports of results. Responsible for design submittal and presiding over turnkey meetings with MDEQ for installation of liquid-ring/dual-phase vacuum remediation systems at several petroleum contaminated sites in Mississippi, and conducted system installation, operation and maintenance, NPDES/POTW permit applications, discharge reporting, tri-annual sampling, and system removal. Worked closely with the MDEQ (Uncontrolled Sites Group) on several petroleum, pesticide, and hazardous chemical contaminated sites in Mississippi, responsible for work-plan submittal and approval, project management, developing corrective action plan, remedial implementation and site closure. Project Coordinator for over 100 NEPA Cultural Resource and Compliance Surveys for new development sites, responsible for assessment of threatened/endangered species/habitats, floodplains, preparation of Environmental Assessments, and correspondence/concurrence from Native American and various governmental agencies. Project Geologist for U.S.A.C.O.E. Initial Environmental Assessment of 30,000 acre Lower Trinity River levee/flood-control project in Dallas, responsible for identification of historical landfill and waste disposal sites and development of subsurface exploration program to assess contamination. Environmental Scientist on U.S.E.P.A. project to develop sampling techniques and reporting guidelines for implementation of NPDES Storm Water Pollution Prevention and Monitoring Plans for non-point source industrial discharges. Project Manager for Environmental Assessments of the City of Dallas Wastewater Treatment Plant expansion project, and various environmental projects for the City of Dallas and neighboring cities, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). Responsible for assessment, monitoring, remediation, and site closure of UST and LUST sites, and various other contaminated sites in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Performed over 200 Phase I and Phase II ESA’s and developed appropriate corrective actions.

Initially worked as Geologist in International Group generating prospect maps from seismic data and well logs for evaluation of new fields and development of existing fields in Africa, Indonesia and South America. Moved to Gulf of Mexico Group as Project Geophysicist performing 3-D interpretations of geophysical and well data in prospect development for bid proposals and exploratory drilling in the GOM, utilizing 3-D computer workstations. Directed geophysical processing procedures to enhance seismic data for interpretation and correlation with well-log data to produce prospect maps, and developed computer generated prospect models for presentation. Conducted Environmental Geo-Hazard studies utilizing side-scan sonar, shallow seismic, and magnetometer surveys of bottom sediments and ecosystems for drilling platform installation in the Gulf of Mexico for the U.S. Minerals Management Service.
