Senior Geologist
CurrentSenior Geologist and Project Manager in Environmental Group, responsible for coordinating and supervising environmental assessments, including drilling, sampling and interpretation of analytical data and monitoring of remedial activities at contaminated sites. Works with various state and federal agencies to obtain concurrence and/or closure on environmental assessment and remediation projects. Conducts wetland delineations for USACOE, Archaeological Surveys for MDAH submittals/clearances, and Noise Surveys for MDOT highway construction projects. Performed over 500 Phase I ESA’s for real-estate transactions, often in conjunction with asbestos inspections or geotechnical surveys, with Phase II ESA (soil and groundwater testing) conducted when potential contamination was identified. Conducts and prepares National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Environmental Assessments, Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plans, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), and Health and Safety (H&S) Plans for various projects. Geological consultant on several major lake development projects in Mississippi and on projects involving the Oil & Gas Industry.
