Conducted archival research under Professor Ying Jia Tan in the College of East Asian Studies collections on archaeology and science fiction in PRC. Assisted the Spring 2024 AALAC workshop studying U.S. missionary activity in early modern China.

Mentor transgender youth in Singapore; provide them with intermediary psychological support and counseling amidst the inaccessibility and gate-keeping of formal psychiatric care. Run TransBefrienders’ official social media accounts; manage community events such as Pink Dot booths and film screenings.

Conducted public policy research on the issue of child marriage in Indonesia, investigating its causes and possible solutions using systems-thinking tools; attained first place from over 900 teams of 3000+ students globally and awarded with a £4,000 cash prize.

Conducted original research in the Special Collections & Archives of the Wesleyan University Library; curated an exhibition in the library lobby about the folklore of Boon Tan and the yellow peril on campus, which ran from May through December 2023.

Organized mixer events for queer youth in Singapore; curated surveys within the local LGBTQ+ community on key issues such as sexual health.

Managed logistics for commercial sets; engaged with talent; helped with production design.

Wrote, edited, and designed graphics and layout for WeChat official account articles; interviewed graduating seniors and published their high school stories; liaised with prospective students and parents; offered educational guidance on summer preparation and college application.

Co-hosted monthly podcast to discuss queer issues, reply to anonymous letters, and share personal stories; wrote WeChat articles to raise awareness of queer rights.
