Welcome to my homepage! Let me start by listing my three main strengths. First, I hold both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Computer Science. Second, I have 11 years of experience in the IT industry (I worked while completing my master's degree). Third, I have permanent residency in the US.Thank you very much for your interest in reading my introduction! In detail, I would like to start with four aspects of IT project development, all of which I have more or less experience in. I must begin by thanking WenxueCity, the company where I’ve spent the last 11 years. Without the support of my boss and manager, I wouldn’t have been able to achieve what I have today.Ok, back to the four aspects:1. Back-end Engineer. My primary job responsibility involves back-end project development, which accounts for 40% of my work. My greatest achievement was working with my manager, under his guidance, to completely replace my company legacy code with an MVC framework and to add many new plugins to it. The new framework halved the development cycle and kept the execution speed of all script files within 0.5 seconds.2. System Designer. This is one of my secondary job responsibilities, which accounts for 30% of my work. In addition to routine maintenance and upgrades of the server, I participated in two major migrations of the company's servers. The first time was reducing the original 100 servers to 16 using virtual machines. The second time was migrating the 16 servers to Google cloud platform. The two migrations saved 60% of server maintenance costs, including traffic, electricity, and labor costs.3. Front-end Engineer. This is not my primary job responsibility, but I have gained a good understanding of JavaScript frameworks like Angular and VUE through self-study. I have been involved in many front-end projects, including advanced techniques such as asynchronous interface callbacks. However, unlike the previous two aspects, I haven't achieved a company life-changing accomplishment. I hope I will have more opportunity to enhance my front-end experience in future.4. Project Manager. I have one year of experience as a project manager, leading a development team of 10 developers. I was responsible for coordinating between the clients in the U.S. market and the development teams in Ukraine and China. In the early stages of the project, a lot of issues were caused due to language barriers. However, after I took over the project, I quickly resolved this situation by leveraging my bilingual skills. I completed project milestones several weeks ahead of schedule.
