My prior role with Invenergy as Sr. Manager, HVDC focussed on providing HVDC support for various onshore & offshore transmission projects.My previous role in Siemens Energy came with the opportunity to lead/learn from the technical team - SunRise Wind HVDC & TWE HVDC project along with supporting to ramp up US C&P hub for critical HVDC projects, apply HVDC O&M experience to the renewable industry for clean energy roadmap. My past roles include Acting Director for National Grid HVDC O&M, Manager for HVDC Operations and NERC-CIP group along with leading engineering projects for HVDC facility, emerging technology programs and installations, supervising control center operations and NERC-CIP/cyber work. Some of the key projects include DC bushing upgrades, Hitachi C&P Mach 3 testing and commissioning, multiple transformer and LCC valve projects, additional O&M projects in HVDC space and leading emerging technologies for HVDC in robotics, drone tech, security applications. Additional experience encompasses Siemens Energy STATCOM VSC scoping and initial deployment from customer side. Also involved in developing safety-based utility solutions for inspection methodologies using Boston Dynamics Robot in high voltage environment along with development of Drone, AR/VR solutions for utility training and safety toolboxes. My publications and committees involve IEEE, CIGRE and EPRI groups. My academia work involves Masters in Management from Harvard University and Masters in EE from UW-Milwaukee.
