Advising on new business avenues in the area of national security.I work with MoD, OGA to help them select cost effective - mission critical solutions for national security in the field of COMINT (HF/VUHF, Satellites, Microwave), ELINT, OSINT. I advise the company on (a) identifying suitable technical partners to supply and integrate diverse technologies, (b) positioning key differentiating propositions, (c) strategic responses to RFP, (c) conducting demonstrations and presentations to users and decision makers, (d) formulating and conducting acceptance test procedures, (e) analysis of spares inventory management and response plans towards 24/7 availability of critical systems.

Vega is a K-12 school aiming to bring to India best practices in the area of immersive education. As Pioneers, we envisioned Vega as an agent-provocateur - challenging schools' and educators' traditional role of "teaching" to being a catalyst in "learning". Towards this end, I filled almost all available shoes - from drafting the initial vision and mission statement, working with educators worldwide to design a PBL (Project/Problem Based Learning) curricula with learning objectives, teaching and assessment methods, to being a panelist in interviewing and hiring school heads, academic coordinators and teachers. This was a new concept for educated, urban parents exposed to traditional schooling - so it needed cogent reasoning to convey the need for 20th century skills in the context of building lifelong learners equipped for their role in society - and how Vega planned to deliver. What I loved most was creating Math projects and family games for children, so they could stay in touch during vacations and strengthen important concepts. I designed Vega's Learning Management System for learning, assessment and performance analytics. Having studied and tested available systems in the market, I designed Vega LMS to facilitate anytime, anywhere, collaborative, 21st century learning. Currently this an unique cloud based platform for supports assignments with resource sharing, rubric based assessment and analytics, maintaining reflective journals and student e-portfolios. Some of my long term decisions on technology embedded GfE with school processes to do "more with less": Drive, Forms, Contacts, Fusion Tables, Maps API were extensively used for resource sharing, frugal CRMs, Transportation, Class observations and parent surveys.It was an exciting opportunity to innovate learning, making it more engaging for students and less mundane for teachers.

Conceptualized, sold and commissioned India's First Police TETRA system for Gurgaon Police. Was involved in bringing low cost devices to market to challenge existing monopolies of entrenched players.

Channel and Institutional Sales of Motorola two-way radios.Pioneered "Application Selling" instead of prevalent box-selling on DGS&D. This involved experimenting with radio signaling features to build SOP for operational requirements, as well as expand the market to non-human (telemetry) usage of radios. Encouraging users to utilize high end features helped break away from the "discount strategy" to compete with low end radios.

Established TETRA as a viable and preferred alternative in a market dominated by proprietary APCO25/ APCO16. The drastic shift in technology share in the last decade+ is a good indicator of this paradigm shift.
