Focus on revenue-generating products that create perpetual cash flows. When growth versus profitability tradeoffs arise, prioritize family, employees, and customers (in that order). 3. Don’t allow money or power to control you. If you focus on power, you will destroy relationships. If you focus on money, you will make short-term decisions. Avoid letting your quest for more distract you from the beauty of enough. 4. Train your body and mind enough. You might not feel it in your twenties, but you will when you need it later. 5. Spend enough time with your parents. The time we have with our parents is limited — prioritize it. Apples don’t fall far from trees. 6. Maintain true friendships. I have lived and worked in five countries. Distance makes relationships harder. 7. Negativity is a silent killer — confront and eliminate it.
