Associate Director Business Process | Technical Product Manager For Variable Compensation (Varicent)
Current• Responsible for calculating and processing payments for over 32,000 payees each quarter, managing a total annual compensation of approximately 120 million USD across 310 unique compensation plans offered by United Healthcare.• Provide strategic consultation on software best practices, software capabilities, and ownership of the implementation.• Collaborate with the software vendor for upgrades, issue resolution, and enhancements.• Lead multiple simultaneous program implementations and guide projects through the entire life cycle: system design, development, testing, and deployment.• Hire, set up and manage a technical team of 8 people (onshore and offshore) for better collaboration and production support.• Improve and enhance the business process by leveraging Varicent software capabilities and exploring best practices related to workflows, forms, Symon AI.• Proactively identify and manage risks related to system design and functionality. • Provides an enterprise-wide perspective when designing system enhancements to ensure information is shared with different variable and sales compensation teams.• Collaborate with internal business partners to automate and onboard new compensation data feeds.• Develop an ongoing strategy to eliminate manual intervention by automating existing processes.• Enhance customer experience by leveraging Varicent’s new reporting capabilities.• Develop and delivery ad-hoc reporting and dashboard functionality to satisfy business leadership requests.• Build and maintain modeling capability within the system to inform consultants and business leaders on plan design changes.• Provide needed training to the end users, so they get familiar to the newly built reports and system.
