• Preparation and review of the UK Corporation Tax for Standard Chartered Bank for various entities in UK and liaise with the local tax team to finalize the corporation tax return.• Keeping track of relevant regulation and required changes related to Bank tax computation for countries where our work spans.• Monitoring, validating and updating taxation information on the OneSource system and ensure that the UK team delivers the tax computations in compliance with the regulations and on time.• Reviewing and modification of weekly UK Input VAT report, and ensure quarterly filings of the same and providing feed back to the APU Team based on my teams review. • Successful Migration of UK VAT account reconciliation and unremittingly working on streamlining the process.• Reviewing German VAT returns and revert back to German team and if any changes required.• Preparing the Regional reconciliation half yearly and annually to find out the Effective Tax Rate.

Bangalore

• Preparation and review of the UK corporation tax for the various clients in UK and liaise with the Ernst & young UK (internal customers), using the IT tools such as Alphatax, Citrix and EY TICS, and delivers the tax computations and other information in the relevant formats.
