• Responsible for maintaining health of a critical customer facing application and its components (ETLs, views, databases, Stored Procedures etc.). Customer data Hub is a single source of Customer data for Duke Energy from various source systems (4 billing systems, 2 metering systems etc.), and end customers, other critical applications and 3rd party vendors consume data from Customer Data Hub 24*7. Any delay or quality issues with data out of Hub results is serious repercussions for the client, including, but not limited to- customer dissatisfaction and complaints, regulatory non-compliance, loss of revenue, increased manual work, delayed restoration of power outages• Worked as a technical lead and single point of contact from Accenture in USA and reported directly to the client manager• Worked directly with clients, IT managers, Business users with day to day activities like status reporting, handling escalations, health monitoring, prioritizing new requests, understand data issues, business requirements and enhancements• Worked with Data Stewards and Data Architects to identify data problems and brainstorm solutions• Lead a team of 7 resources, who were based out of India, and delegated and supervised their work• Written complex SQL queries on Customer Data Hub to answer user data questions, perform defect analysis and for new projects requiring data consumption out of Hub• Performed automation by replacing manual work using ETL and SQL processes• Identified bottlenecks in the production processes and reduced weekly average ticket count from >100 to <40• Performed ETL and SQL performance tuning to ensure critical jobs meet SLA• Performed deep dive analysis of complex ETLs and stored procedures for RCA• Represented Customer Hub during SDEs. SDE (System Disruption Events) are production issues that have a widespread impact, include multiple applications and need to be addressed on an urgent basis.

Project: Duke Energy - HR Training and Medical consolidation• Worked as offshore point of contact for coordination with onshore leads and Data Architects• Worked with Data Architects, business and onshore teams to gather requirements, created high-level ETL designs and SQL queries to be used by team members for build phase• Created integration framework for Skills data integration into Workforce Hub• Lead the Assembly and System test phase from offshore; responsible for defect assignment and tracking within offshore and their timely completion• Lead the data conversion effort from offshore. Frequently met with data architects and onshore team to understand data conversion mappings, provide inputs and suggest solutions• Driven Data Profiling effort from Offshore (profiling around ~70 tables) in analysis phase to help the business team get a better understanding of legacy data. Well appreciated by the end client as this set the tone for getting into design mode and creating functional conversion data mappings• Supervised a team of three members during test phases of the project - Assisting Time and Pay Integration team to help them understand complex logic involved in Time ETLs and Batch Processes• CAR (Causal Analysis Report) coordinator. Project: Duke Energy - HR Merger consolidation• Collaborated with onshore Data Architects and SMEs to create high level Integration Design documents to depict the end-to-end flow of conversion data• Created complex SQL queries for analysis of legacy Progress data• Created conversion ETLs to integrate legacy Progress data with legacy Duke data • Created various prototype ETLs to make sure that the conversion data meets system requirements• Worked on Performance tuning of ETLs and got an improvement of around 1 hour and 10 minutes for a critical nightly batch with 50% increase in data volume• Lead the defect fixing effort from offshore. Offshore was able to fix ~450 defects in this project

Duke Energy – HR Workforce Hub 2012• Worked directly with the end client to understand highly complex Real Time job process and proposed design pattern to convert the existing C# code and SQL Stored procedure into Informatica codes • Lead Real Time data conversion module from offshore• Created a prototype to convert legacy Real Time application coded in Dot Net (C#) and complex Stored Procedures into Informatica ETLs running 24*7 • Performed deep dive analysis of complex ETLs, views, reports and Stored Procedures to identify the existing logic and functioning. This analysis was done in the analysis phase and set the tone for design of new interfaces• Key member in defect fix team during test phases. One of the key achievements was identification of 2 major defects in the existing production ETLs

Duke Energy - HR Workforce Hub 2011• Worked as a developer to create Informatica interfaces to integrate HR data Hub with multiple Source Systems. Created 100+ ETLs and 30+ views• Acted as point of contact for WF Hub batch process, which was the backbone of all the ETL processing. Worked directly with onshore counterpart to understand the batch process and then helped the team implement it at offshore. All ETLs (~300) relied on this batch process• Worked as a POC for one of the complex ETL modules - i.e., Workforce Summary• Created Data Transformation Views. These views incorporated all the business logic in a single SQL server view which were then used in ETLs to pull data. This resulted in simplification of ETLs• Created high level ESP designs to schedule informatica ETLs
