Siddarth Selvaraj is the Co-Founder and a Partner of Studio 33 (www.thisisstudio33.com), a production house in Bangalore offering communication solutions in film & animation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in communication studies and political science from Gustavus Adolphus College, MN, and a Master’s degree in Film Production from Boston University. Siddarth is also the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of the Renegade Arts and Theatre Society, a not for profit community theater production house working on socially relevant theatrical productions. Siddarth served as the Curator of the Bangalore Hub of the Global Shapers Movement, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. Over the past twenty years Siddarth has produced over twenty theatrical presentations, several short films and documentaries and has hosted two audio-podcasts – one on issues of justice and peace and the other on film criticism. Siddarth continues to look for meaningful ways to produce media and art that can influence a conversion of public opinion into public action on critical issues of our time. In 2009 Siddarth was awarded the Harold Buchbinder Award for Media Entrepreneurship and completed a year long mentoring program with Jay Roewe, Senior Vice President of Film Production at HBO.
