Siddh Doshi is a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Planning, CEPT University, for the Water4Change Project at the Centre for Water and Sanitation (C-WAS), CEPT Research and Development Foundation (CRDF). He is also the Program Executive for the Master of Urban Infrastructure (Major in WASH) program at the Faculty of Planning, CEPT University, which is part of the Global Graduate Sanitation School (GSGS) that is supported by IHE, Delft and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF). Siddh has a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planner, specialising in Infrastructure Planning, and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. His key areas of interest are urban participatory models in the governance of infrastructure services, urban infrastructure and service delivery, water & sanitation in urban development projects, urban informal economy, and solid waste management in urban areas. Siddh has more than seven years of experience in research and teaching. At CEPT, Siddh has been involved in academics and research projects. He is involved extensively in preparing various national and international research project proposals; he is also an active team member in a few ongoing projects, teaches several master courses and studios, and supervises master’s thesis at the University. As a Program Executive, he is involved in the overall execution, including course and content development, delivery of lectures, and examinations and tutorials of the master’s program.
