• Manage a team of 5 product specialists PAN India and ensuring machine availability for Underground Loaders (7 ton to 17 ton) and Underground Dump trucks(20 ton to 60 ton) as per AMC guidelines.• Equipment Commissioning, health checkup, audit and recommending spare parts based on machine health and ageing. • Attend and troubleshoot vehicles breakdown in underground sites and provide 24x7 support to AMC sites in Uranium mines in Andhra Pradesh, and various zinc mines in Rajasthan.• Training the team of product specialists, site managers, service engineers on the product basics, maintenance practices, troubleshooting etc.• Recommendation of spare parts based on machine audits and ensuring proper utilization of inventory.• Liaison with the Plant & Customer on product issues.• Troubleshoot critical field failures and decide warranty delivery.

• Providing inputs to Quality Assurance/Product Design and Development/Product Management Group on improvement requirements from field perspective.• New Product Introduction Process (NPIP) – Service verifications/recommendations, Technical Literature including Service Manuals and Parts Catalogues & Value enhancement.• Interaction with Quality Assurance/Product Design and Development for product quality issues: New failures, recurring high frequency/cost failures.• Participation in Field visits/Service Campaigns, Regular meetings with Quality Assurance/Product Design and Development on improvements.• Technical Bulletins regarding Field Service Implementation, Technical Information to the field team and Dealers.• Advance Product Report cum Warranty Claim (PR-WC) coordination.• Participation in Quality Function Group meetings, Value engineered parts validation through field trials and monitoring.• Conclusion on field proactive verification/upgradation with Product Design and Development/Quality Assurance.• Liaison with OEMs for field support, warranty.• Technical Training of Construction Equipment like Excavators, Backhoe Loaders, Wheeled Loaders etc. Improve the Skill Level of the Field Managers, Engineers & maintain skill matrix as per the objectives of the Company & maintain On-Line records on online learning portal.• Plan yearly Budget for the Product Support Department and Coordinate all Departmental Budgeting activities, keep track of expenditures and ensure compliance with the forecasted budgets. Plan all local purchases for the department and generate weekly expenses report.• Develop Training aids – Training Modules and CD’s, Video Shoot covering General Maintenance, standard dismantling and assembly procedures for JCB Transmission, Axle etc. • Facilitate e-learning through JCB training website.
