 Preventive & corrective maintenance of Train, Station and Depots including Bi-weekly checks & Engage with major maintenance (Predictive maintenance) team for doing 3monthly, 6monthly, 1yearly and 2yearly checks. Knowledge of inspecting, maintaining, repairing, servicing, testing, fault troubleshooting and investigation of train, stations and depots communication system like CCTV, PAS/PIS, TDS, IAS, SDH, MSN, NBR, BBR, DVVR. Maintaining, repairing and recovering failure in Signaling and automatic train control systems covering failures of computer based control and communication equipment and fiber-optical based cables and interface equipment. Fault diagnosis by finding the fault with the help of TCMS event record & fault log data. Reading & analyzing various Schematics/drawings/circuit diagrams during fault rectification. Undertaking minor modifications as and when required. Exposure of primary suspension shimming, secondary suspension shimming, various height measurements & adjustments. Providing continuous technical support to operations control Centre (OCC) & mainline. Responsible for Technical inspection of assets and inventories. Assist in the job familiarization of staff and apprentices and to provide training and assessment where required. Assisting Supervisors/Engineers in preparing technical reports on fault findings and rectifications. Engage as Person in charge (PIC) on behalf of team leaders in case of need & communicate with OCC, FLRTs, Depot equipment (DE) team & other technicians in tackling the failures & providing briefing, train access & building access to other E&M staff. Maintaining records of the trains and faults related to station and depots by making reports, filling access, submitting check lists for various activities & updating them on Maintenance Management System (MMS).
