Manage project engineers for projects executed in United States of America, India and China. Senior project engineer managing technical team (of three projects), which was spread across United States of America, India and China. Applying PMP practices and Lean product development principles in global project executions to focus on value adding activities thereby increasing the efficiency. Projects were on Honeywell's highly sucessfull "Primus EPIC" platform. (Primus EPIC is a highly modular avionics architecture, in which different field replaceable modules communicate with each other via virtual back plane network and host variety of software applications.)  My scope of work included below activities:  Managed estimates and scope for project • Managed schedule (Earned value management) • Managed cost (budget and fill rates) • Risk management • Weekly project status reporting to all internal and external stake holders • Presentation of quotations and monthly project status to director of software center of excellence • Liaise with program manager and other product groups for tracking milestones, cost and scope

Project management for multiple projects in Software Center of Excellence division.   My scope of work included below activities:  • Managing development and verification (schedule scope and cost control)of CAN protocol based Boot loaders using ARINC 664 and ARINC 825 standards for A350 ( Airbus aircraft) program and fault logger for F7x (Dassault aircraft) • Team management for total software life cycle ( from requirements development to verification) • Experience in team formation and team building ( hiring, training and mentoring of engineers for the job) • Provided technical solutions when needed to overcome difficult issues. • Line of business deck for software center of excellence- (Additional initiative along with the role of project lead) • Made presentations to senior management on SWOT analysis for software center of excellence with respect to industry trends and Honeywell product portfolio.
