With over 14 years of experience in data science/machine learning and engineering, I am passionate about solving customer and business problems using data and AI. My mission is to deliver innovative and scalable solutions that create value and impact for Chewy, the leading online retailer of pet products and services. As the head of Forecasting, I lead an org of economists, scientists, software and data engineers, and product managers who work collaboratively to optimize Chewy's supply chain operations and customer experience through various forecasting solutions.In my current role, I oversee the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and systems that support various aspects of Chewy's operations, such as demand forecasting, inventory management, pricing, promotion, and fulfillment. I also foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and learning within my org, and mentor and coach my team members to grow their technical and leadership skills. Prior to joining Chewy, I was the Head of Applied ML at Microsoft, where I led a team of applied scientists and engineers who built and deployed cloud-based AI solutions for various domains and industries.
